Cybersecurity & Compliance Trainer

We're looking for a Cybersecurity & Compliance Trainer to lead our regulation-focused security curriculum, covering NIS2, DORA and CISM certification for clients across finance, insurance and logistics.

Our security curriculum is unusually regulation-led. Alongside the technical fundamentals, we train financial institutions on DORA, transport and logistics operators on NIS2, and security professionals on CISM certification. As our Cybersecurity and Compliance Trainer, you will own this portfolio: teaching it, keeping it aligned with a fast-moving European regulatory landscape, and translating legal obligations into practical guidance that technical teams can act on.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver instructor-led training across our security portfolio, in person and online.
  • Teach our regulatory programmes, including NIS2 for Transport and Logistics and DORA and Cyber Resilience for financial and insurance institutions.
  • Prepare candidates for the CISM certification and support them through to examination.
  • Deliver hands-on tooling courses such as Splunk Fundamentals and Advanced Splunk.
  • Track regulatory change and revise course material so clients are never trained against superseded requirements.
  • Adapt content to sector context across our Finance, Insurance, Logistics and Public Sector verticals.
  • Advise clients during scoping conversations on which programmes fit their compliance obligations.
Requirements:
  • Several years of practical experience in information security, ideally in a regulated industry.
  • Working knowledge of the EU regulatory landscape, particularly NIS2 and DORA.
  • A recognised certification such as CISM, CISSP or equivalent, or the experience to obtain one.
  • Demonstrable teaching, mentoring or conference-speaking experience.
  • Ability to explain compliance obligations to both engineers and senior stakeholders.
  • Confident communicator in English; German is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for on-site delivery.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary, reviewed annually.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance.
  • 40 days of paid holiday per year.
  • 100% remote working anywhere within Europe.
  • Fitness expense coverage.
  • A dedicated budget for conferences, certifications and staying current in your field.
  • Free access to our full course catalogue.
