Cloud & DevOps Trainer

Join us as a Cloud & DevOps Trainer and take our infrastructure curriculum into the room, covering Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible and OpenStack for engineering teams across Europe.

Our cloud and DevOps portfolio runs to nearly thirty courses and is built almost entirely around hands-on work: containers, orchestration, infrastructure as code, configuration management and CI pipelines. As our Cloud and DevOps Trainer, you will spend most of your time in the lab with engineers rather than in front of slides. We are looking for someone who has actually run this infrastructure in production and can teach from experience rather than documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver instructor-led training, in person and online, across our cloud and DevOps curriculum.
  • Teach container and orchestration courses including Container Management with Docker, Docker and Kubernetes, Advanced Kubernetes, and Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift for Administrators and Developers.
  • Deliver infrastructure-as-code and automation programmes covering Terraform, Ansible and Saltstack.
  • Run our OpenStack administration track, from basic through advanced and exam preparation labs.
  • Teach CI and quality automation topics such as Jenkins with Maven and Advanced Selenium.
  • Build and maintain the lab environments that underpin these courses.
  • Keep material aligned with current platform releases and certification syllabi.
Requirements:
  • Several years of hands-on experience operating cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in production.
  • Deep practical knowledge of Kubernetes and container tooling.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform and Ansible.
  • Demonstrable teaching, mentoring or conference-speaking experience.
  • Comfortable debugging live in front of a room when a lab misbehaves.
  • Confident communicator in English; German is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for on-site delivery.
